Saturday, May 1st, 2010We were called in to assist Ian, a publican who owns a pub in Pokesdown, near Bournemouth to surprise his wife on their joint 40th Birthdays.
We squeezed into the pub garden a 6m x 15m marquee and to take out the undulations in the ground and to provide a solid dancing area, we installed our hardwood flooring system.
An ivory and burgundy theme was required inside the marquee and to add a bit of contrast we added a few roushed burgundy wall linings.
Other equipment that we provided included, black candelabras (including all the cabling), folding chairs and trestle tables.
A special requirement of this contract was to install the marquee on Saturday morning to help with the surprise, which of course Marquee Elegance was happy do accommodate.
Happy Birthday Jessie
Wednesday, April 21st, 2010Everyone at Marquee Elegance would like to wish Jessie a Happy 21st Birthday.
She asked us to install our 6m range of marquee in her garden at her home in Winton, near Bournemouth. After a bit of tree removal, we erected the marquee along with our wooden flooring system which she wisely choose to hire.

Culture Festival
Monday, April 5th, 2010Hello Everyone,
The latest event we were pleased to assist with was the 1st Bournemouth Culture Festival held in Bournemouth Square over three days over the Easter Bank Holiday.
We were tasked to install five separate marquees to cover over 20 separate stands for the general public to visit, achieved by using our 6m and 9m range of structures. We also installed our innovative wooden flooring system to anchor the marquees as there was no way that the marquees could be staked.
Other equipment that was delivered included trestle tables, folding chairs and tea urns. Over 12 tonnes of equipment was delivered and erected!!!
Again, this event had its own challenges, we could only install and dismantle the marquees in one day, so we increased our workforce and was able to get the job done on time and as planned.

Friends of Elegance!
What a weekend for tables, over 150 were delivered and installed at various locations around Dorset, including all our brand new 2010 stock.
Most of the tables and a number of our folding chairs were delivered to Bournemouth for the Bournemouth Bay Run which is an event run by the events team at Bournemouth Council and in association with the British Heart Foundation. An important requirement of this particular event was to deliver the equipment to the various locations along the route at 7.00 AM on a Sunday and of course Marquee Elegance being your flexible local marquee company this was a pleasure 
)
We also had the pleasure of providing furniture to the 02 Academy in Boscombe for the Wedding Daze wedding exhibition. A big thank you to Tammy and Dawn for their order and to Nathan and his staff for all their assistance.
Wilton House Wedding Exhibition

Thanks Dawn, Tammy and Julie for putting together a fantastic show at Wilton House near , Salisbury in Wiltshire.
Wilton is famous for producing quality carpets and for its stately home Wilton House, which proved to be a fantastic venue. The general opinion amongst exhibitors was that the day was very successful. It was the first time that Jos was on our stand alone and what a success she had with 18 potential clients giving us their details requesting information. Thanks Jos for stepping into my shoes and running the stand for me whilst I oversaw another site back in Bournemouth.
We erected our 9m marquee with a 3m walkway leading back into Wilton house. The main marquee was completed with hardwood flooring and full linings in Burgundy. We also provided heating, tables, lighting, electrics, matting, guttering systems & more.

BIC Wedding Exhibition
