Its all about connections..

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

Hello Friends,

Heard the latest?

At Holton Lee, near Wareham this week saw the Connect 2010,  a five-day teaching and worship event where hundreds of people of all ages can connect and grow together in Word and Spirit.

But shortly before a team of 6 Elegance boys invaded the site to install the two main marquees, one being 150 feet long. This involved more than 10 tonnes of equipment being delivered and erected, and over 600, yes, 600 folding chairs for worshipers to sit on. We also installed blackout linings, a huge 35 sq metre litedeck stage, plasma screens, lighting, cabling and laid over 5o rolls of polypropylene matting.

Poole Audi

We have been very secretive this week,

We were tasked to attach one of our 9m marquees alongside a prestigious car dealership in Poole. The occasion was the product launch of the new Audi A8 at Poole Audi.

The marquee was used to hide the cars before they were driven through black curtains and dry ice into the dealership where invited guests were waiting on our limewash chavari banqueting chairs.

We also provided trestle tables and associated linen and installed a full blackout lining so noone could get a sneak preview.

The challange with this event was to erect the marquee without using stakes. Whilst we would normally use our hardwood flooring system to overcome this problem it was not practical and so ballast tanks were used to ratchet the marquee in situ.
