Marquee Elegance were chosen by Kristina and fellow students to assist them in creating a 40’s and 50’s fun day venue on the old bowling green in Meyrick Park last weekend. This was part of their Arts & Events (BA HONS) course.
We erected a 9m x 15m clearspan marquee with stripped matting similar to the one photgraphed above.

Thank you to Christine, Emma and Roger from Upton House who arranged the wedding fair last weekend. The sun shone all day and lots of visitors came to look around at all the stands that were exhibiting.
We had a successful day and have already written to all the couples who visited our stand requesting information.
Upton House is a licensed venue close to Poole where you can get married and have a marquee reception.
The next wedding fair we will be attending will be at Wilton House, near Salisbury
We have just purchased ready for the 2010 season another specialist trailer. This one is for transporting our brand new Chivari Banqueting chairs and other furniture and linings which need to be kept dry while being delivered to your event.

Thanks to everyone who helped in installing our demonstration marquee at the Kingston Maurward wedding fayre last weekend.
We met with new and existing clients and have already emailed them details of our marquees and how we can best help achieve their dream wedding venue.
Next weekend we will be exhibiting at Upton House, so please come along if your getting married in the near future!

Tis great news!
We have been busy over the past week dealing with a flurry of not just snow but also enquiries. We have sent information, pictures and advice to over 60 brides mostly through email.
We have also been fortunate to receive four orders this week. Two for furniture hire requirements from long standing clients amounting to over 100 tables and 300 chairs being delivered and installed. We have also finalised arrangements for James’s wedding in July where we will be installing our 6m range of marquee with flooring and LED lighting.
Lastly, we have taken on what looks like our biggest order this year with over 20,000 square feet of tentage to create a large temporary scout camp in Dorset.
A big thank you to Louise, Keely & Nicola for a successful 2010 Wedding Show at the BIC in Bournemouth.
And thank you to all those who stopped by our stand to ask us questions and wanting further information. We took 40+ enquiries and will be getting in touch with you shortly.

Thank you Rebecca for allowing us to create your wedding venue at Nothe Fort in Weymouth.
We will be installing our 9m marquee along with the essential wooden flooring system as the site is not on grass. In addition, furniture, linen and electrics will also be provided.
Located at the entrance to Weymouth Harbour the Fort is a labyrinth of underground passageways and outdoor areas with stunning views of the Jurassic Coast. Constructed on three levels , which are easily accessed by means of a lift, the Fort is filled with displays, mammoth guns and cinema areas that chart the history of this large and magnificent Victorian structure. Nothe Fort is now one of Weymouth’s major attractions and a venue for a wide range of events.
Marquee Elegance will be providing the marquee for the summer cricket party in Buckhorn Weston.
As per last year we will install our 12m marquee with addidtional catering / bar areas. Hardwood flooring, lighting, staging and furniture will also be used at this popular event.
